First, thanks for the compliment. To answer your question, It depends. :) Why do you want a blog: What will be its purpose? In my case, it is to highlight my photography and digital art. For others it might be a travelogue or 'A day in the life of . . ' or whatever topic/subject they want to focus on/promote. As to how difficult is it to publish a blog, that answer again is, it depends. Blogger ( and I believe WordPress is similar) has pre-existing templates to pick from. All you need to do is supply the text (and images if so desired) and the template will format and produce the finished product. Or you can code exactly what you want it to appear like. My blog is a combination of both methods. My best suggestion is to pick a service like Blogger or WordPress and dive in. Good luck.
